Katja Beckman was born in Skara, Sweden, 1990. Beckman is considered to be one of Swedens most important and promising young talents within the textile world, and is based in Berlin, Germany. She has over 7 years of textile related studies behind her. Since graduating from Konstfack, Sweden she has frequently been exhibited internationally. This piece is complex, stunning and made using various techniques. All material has been hand-dyed by Katja Beckman and traditionally hand woven.
