Kennet Williamsson was born in Örebro, Sweden, 1951. Williamsson is considered to be one of the most influential and important ceramic artists still active in Sweden. These large “stones” have been coiled out of a stoneware clay inspirerad by moss covered boulders found in the forest surrounding Williamsson’s home. A group of 9 stones was made for an exhibition at Tomelilla Konsthall in 2017. Later they were exhibited outdoors at the Aritpelag Museum just outside of Stockholm. The ceramic body is painted in a durable vinyl paint. Making them suitable for outdoor use.

The stones can be purchased separately or as a duo.
