Discover a stunning contemporary sculpture by ceramicist Bo Arenander and allow yourself to feel the raw, unglazed surface of this tactile piece. Connected to the material Bo Arenander creates intuitively, letting his hands lead the creative process.
Being a professional dancer and choreographer Arenander has a unique way of fusing his fascination of the human body with clay after extensive ceramic studies in both New York and Stockholm and over four decades of experience. Using a course and durable stoneware clay Arenander builds a hollow form constantly stroking and smoothening the angles to make sure the shape turns out exactly how he envisioned. The piece is left unglazed to give it a wonderfully tactile quality and a natural reflection of light.
The sculpture is signed and dated 2017 and was hand-picked by ODEM ATELIER from the artists private collection.
