Mats Svensson belongs to one of Sweden’s most respected and experienced contemporary potters and works with great appreciation to tradition. Strongly influenced by the Japanese language of form his work is heavily influenced by asymmetry and nature.
Taking weeks to create this stoneware vessel is the result of over 45 years of experience. Dipped in a magnificent, white shino glaze the surface of the piece is living and irregular.
